County is the legendary home of Gone With The Wind.
For almost 40 years, Historical Jonesboro has dedicated resources to community involvement and education. We currently reach out to students through programs such as tours, presentations, and workshops. At the heart of our historic community are the 1839 Greek Revival antebellum home known as Stately Oaks, the log kitchen used on the property, a well house, tenant house, Juddy's country store, and the last one room schoolhouse used in Clayton County.
